Dataset>

First row (column) is the heading.

When enabled, the first row (column) of the dataset is the heading.

When disabled, the first row (column) of the dataset is included in the data range.

Series>

Name Text field to name the Series. By default, it is set to “New Series n”. In the Icon array chart, only one series is available. Helpcenter-Chart-Properties-Icon-Array-Name
Category Used to bind categories. Every category is represented by icons of the same color or/and type Helpcenter-Chart-Properties-Icon-Array-Category
  If there are one or more empty cells in a corresponding category column/row an empty category is added. Values of multiple empty categories will be merged into one category.  Helpcenter-Chart-Properties-Icon-Array-Category-Empty-cells
Value Used to bind numerical values. Every value is represented by a number of icons that is proportional to a total number of icons. Value of an icon can be explicitly set under Styling > Data > Array > Value of 1 Icon. Helpcenter-Chart-Properties-Icon-Array-Value
  If there are one or more empty cells in a value column/row the icons are not plotted.  Helpcenter-Chart-Properties-Icon-Array-Value-Empty-cells
Color

Used to bind the data to the color of the icon. The bound column/row can be represented by categorical or numerical values. By default, it’s formatted as a categorical value. The type of data can be adjusted in the Formatting tab.


Colors can be presented directly as HTML names, HEX, RGB, or CMYK values. More on that here. To use direct coloring the color of icons should be set to “None” under Styling > Data > Icons > Color.

HORIZONTAL GAPS

Size Sets the size of the horizontal gap in absolute or relative values

ORDER

Sort

Sorts the array of icons in the following order:

  1. None
  2. Ascending
  3. Descending
  4. Reverse

Direction

Sets the direction of icon placement:

  1. Icons placed in rows
  2. Icons placed in columns

Method

Start Corner
